L'Hôtel Creina fut construit en 1970 selon les plans de l'architecte Edvard Ravnikar dont l'hôtel fait partie de ses travaux de droit d'auteur. Il a été déclaré monument historique et culturel.
L'excellente situation de l'hôtel permet un accès rapide à l'aéroport, à la capitale Slovène Ljubljana, au centre de ski Krvavec, au Centre de Tourisme Bled, et au quartier sportif et d'affaires de Kranj.

Direction Jesenice- Kranj (AC)
Exit the motorway at Kranj - Zahod, turn right, go to the first semaphorized intersection, turn left then go straight pass the main gas-station, police and bank and you are in front of the Hotel Creina.
Direction Ljubljana-Kranj (AC)
Leave the motorway at Kranj - Vzhod, then turn left at the roundabout and follow the main road towards the Kranj centre.
Go pass the shopping malls, through the town until you reach the junction at the end of Kokra river bridge. Here you turn left and then drive straight to the police building, where you turn left again and then go follow the main road, which brings you in front of Hotel Creina
